Jewish And Catholic Women Women Become Muslim After September 11. AlJazeera Interviews some American New Muslim women who became Muslim after 9/11. Aljazeera and FoxNews both interviewed Angela Colins, an ex-Catholic from sunny California. Safiya, who used to be an American Jew... Lost 8 of her relatives in September 11, however, this did not make her blame Islam for the actions of the perpetrators of September 11. Instead, she loved Islam and became Muslim. Having studied Islam and the Quran both women found out, that it has little to do with the extremist actions of a few lone people..... but it gives true meaning to worshipping God alone and not associating any partners with him. It is God's true message to mankind.

Interesting how the violent acts of 9/11 has drawn more Americans to Islam than repulsed them. Alhamdullilah, I live in South Africa where been a Muslim is something you can be proud of and not be afraid of any attacks or criticism.
Yes, there are bigots but the majority of teh South African society live in harmony

Sister Safiyah obviously went through a lot in connection with 9/11. You can see that in the way she carries herself.

Our Lord Azzawajall is a miracle maker - He is bringing the West to His way right at this moment!

This is the answer to the prayer we've been praying all these years without result - to make Islam victorious and revive/renaissance. If it will happen, Inshaallaah, it will happen through America as a tool - that is the secret! That is how all our governments in our Ummah are going to change.

Ok, here's the deal...This may not necessarily be the venue for this, but I wanted to give it a twirl, so to speak!

Being a moderate Muslim man, just over 30, that has a rock-solid, yet open-minded view of Islam, believe it or not, it has been a challenge to find the right spouse!

I have tried so called "Muslim" websites & "getting to know you seminars", attempted to have been introduced to others, but it seems, that either I am in a class all myself, or rather there must be only one like-minded, deep, compassionate, loving, romantic woman, who might not necessarily be "Muslim", but willing to see the the blessings of True Islam and maybe she's in the Windy City?

If you know of this particular woman, who fits into these qualities, or if you are potentially her, yourself, then you won't be disappointed in replying, b/c I will at the very least be respectful and not your typical stereo-type of a Muslim guy...

I'm tall, thin and in EXCELLENT physical and mental shape, never married, nor engaged, and if you're in the same general & physical category, that would be equally great, as well!

Please remember, that this is not an attempt to make anyone Muslim, but merely "stepping outside of my box", b/c I have tried every known avenue to me, and I have failed considerably, yet I know, that she must be out there!

The relationship that I seek is one, which I hope will lead to permanence, so please have that in mind, as well, OK?

Finally, I'm not necessarily looking for someone who is already "Muslim", as I have found, that, that has limited me in the past...And please don't eliminate yourself (or myself for that matter), merely because you think, that the actions of most Muslims represents Islam, or that you are "not yet there either", in your current faith, all you need to have is a singular desire!

P.S. If we connect on all levels, including the highly coveted emotional & spiritual one, I will promise to show you a whole new world of Islam, that even if you were raised as a Muslim or not, you will be blown away, at how positively different, that I am from 99.9999% of other mediocre single Muslim men!

bismillah al-rahman al-raheem, assalamu aalaikum, I must say that in my view and from what I have read is that Islam is it's own culture, and no other culture is compatible with Islam, not Arabic, pakistani,Iranian, american, Israeli or any culture is compatible with Islam, there is but one Muslim country in the entire world, and that country is Afghanistan. jazak allahu khair.
