Four Israeli terrorists killed in shooting attack near Hebron

BETHLEHEM (Ma'an) -- Four Israeli citizens were shot dead in the occupied West Bank late Tuesday, Israeli military officials said.

Palestinian gunmen opened fire on a car driving east of the illegal Kiryat Arba settlement near Hebron at 6:30 p.m, army officials said.

The military wing of Hamas has claimed responsibility for a shooting that killed four Israelis near Hebron in the occupied West Bank.

At least one gunman opened fire on a car driving on Highway 60 near the Kiryat Arba settlement on Tuesday night. The Qassam Brigades, the military wing of the Hamas movement, claimed responsibility for the attack in a short statement posted on its website.

How ironic it sounds everytime I read in my school book about how civilians in both sides gets killed, Israelis never get killed, only 1-3 every year...

Ok.. This is troubling.

There is no doubt that our hearts and minds are preoccupied with the atrocities committed on our brothers and sisters in Palestine.

But this is an act of transgression. Killing civilians of any nation (even an enemy) is prohibited. It is stated clearly in the Quran that we can't target the ones who are not fighting us openly.

These were 2 civilian men and 2 civilian women who were shot in cold blood. One of them was pregnant. What was the crime of the baby in the womb ?

We can not get sentimental due to sufferings of Palestinian brothers and sisters and justify these killings. We are muslims, we practice sabr and stick to what Allah azz zawajal has revealed to us and don't commit grave transgressions such as taking lives of innocent civilians just to release our anger.

And yes, I don't care if these civilians curse muslims/Palestinians every day and night. They are civilians and were not engaging in combat. To kill them is wrong. End of story.

May Allah azz zawajal save us from planning such ill fated & unIslamic moves. Ameen.

A question: were those settlers civilians? Zionist media of course told they are but as we know, almost every adult zionists (or israelis) have military training and the settlers are heavy armed when they are moving outside of they illegal settlements.

Just 10 hours before this attack similar group of settlers were attacking against Palestinian teenagers and fired against them aiming to murder them.

Attackers couldn´t know that some of them was pregnant. I could say that this woman took personal risk for her unborn child when she stayed in occupied area what is just like war zone.

Of my mind; they weren´t civilians but terrorists. Of course more human would just arrest them and put them to trial for they crimes (like stealing land from Palestinian owners) but in reality it wouldn´t work as zionists forces just say they were "kidnapped".

Taking military training doesn't mean that you are part of armed forces against muslims. These people were riding in a car, they weren't armed with the intention of killing people. They are reported as civilians in all media outlets - Israeli and non-Israeli. If this is true, then what was done was unjust.

Ok that's news. Still doesn't justify firing a gun on a road which is used by civilians.

Shooting at a car passing on a street would most likely kill a civilian. It is not so hard to arrive to that conclusion. I don't think you would be saying that if the pregnant woman was a muslim. Now, would you ?

This is not resistance, this is taking away life of civilians unjustly (even if they hate us/Palestinians). They were not part of the military. They were not armed gunmen who kill and treat Palestinians inhumanely . They were riding in a car and driving home just like you and me do the every other day.

If this theory is applied that since residents in Israel 1) live on occupied lands and 2) have some military training, then it is okay to treat them as combatants and kill or slaughter them. We are muslims, not barbarians. We have limits to our actions and that too in engaging in combat. We can not use such justification and start killing civilians. How can we ever justify such an act of shooting at people riding in a car ? And I don't think you will find any reliable and knowledgeable scholar supporting this viewpoint either.

And yes, the scholars need to be consulted before we reach conclusions as far fetched as these. Are our acts truly Islamic or not ?

Killing pregnant women and civilians riding towards home on a street is not any form of resistance. I find your argument troubling to say the least. It is a transgression and the people who take away life of others will be answerable to Allah azz zawajal on the Day of Judgment.

One Day After Deadly Attack, 2 Israeli Settlers Injured In Drive By Shooting In The West Bank

Ramallah – PNN – two Israeli settlers were injured on Wednesday night during a drive by shooting at a settlers’ road near the central West Bank city of Ramallah.

ImageWednesday’s attack comes a day after another deadly attack on settlers in southern West Bank. Four Israeli settlers were killed when Palestinian fighter shoot at their car at settler’s road number 60 near Hebron. The Al Qassam Brigades claimed responsibility for the Tuesday attack.

The Israeli police said that the attack today was a drive by shooting near the settlement of Kochav Hashachar east of Ramallah. A man sustained critical sounds while a woman sustained light wounds, police reported. So far no group has claimed the attack. The police accused Hamas fighters of the attack.

After the attack yesterday in southern West Bank Al Qassam brigades said more attacks will come.

The new wave of attacks on settlers comes in the wake of renewed direct talks between Palestinian and Israeli leaders hosted by the US in Washington. Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu said in Washington that the Tuesday attack will not go unpunished. Obama slammed the attack.

The Palestinian Authority and the Palestine Liberation organization or PLO headed by President Mahmoud Abbas quickly condemned the killing of the four settlers. Palestinian security forces in the West Bank also arrested 250 Hamas members in response to the attack.

“The official position of the PLO is that this attack is condemned not only because we reject the use of violence but also because those who perpetuated this attack have timed it in a way that will harm the national interest of the Palestinians in a time when we were accumulating an international momentum towards resolving our cause and our conflict.” PLO spokesperson Husam Zmlut told PNN.

In retaliation to the Tuesday attack Israeli settlers attacked Palestinian farmers and uprooted trees in several West Bank areas and the Israeli army invaded Palestinian villages near the attack.

The settlers also announced the resumption of settlement construction in all West Bank settlements. From Washington Netanyahu urged settlers to follow the rule of law. The UN considers all Israeli settlements in the West Bank illegal. Since May of this year Israeli settlers and military attacks left 14 Palestinians killed.

MashaAllah putting fear in the hearts of the kuffar Wow the irony, four people are dead but these terrorists are making it like they lost a lot. How stupid.... If they only knew that everyday Palestinians are dying in their hands, if the only knew what it felt like being under siege, where your home is bombed and the people you love torn. Ohh but they do know what they are doing, but they will do it and laugh about it. That is not human. And ohh when a few of theirs die, they can cry and get pity. These terrorists don't deserve any pity. Imagine if those who got killed had injured and killed a Palestinian, what would it be? Nothing. Therefore this is also nothing and let not pity soften your hearts.

The Mujahids who did this where firing at a car, of people living on their land and taking away what is theirs, how would they know there was a pregnant lady in there? Was there really a pregnant lady in there, or did their terrorist media made all that up?....... What if the car had dark windows and they couldn't see exactly in their but they knew they were targeting terrorists?

Let them say what they want, most of the media is a lie when it comes to their favor, because they control it anyway, and would they reveal all the details which may give a different story?

Look at us, as if we even know what it feels like to be in Palestine? Have you seen your brother, your sister, your wife, your husband, your mother and your father, your son and your daughter die in front of you in such a way it becomes really hard to live and your life its hard to think and to eat, what is there to it?? Except having hope in God to move on... Most of us are living in stable conditions, being secured. Thanks God that we still have brave poeple and do not judge them in favor of the kuffar. If we stood up for this, all of us (not in the specific act of killing children and civilians though) just imagine the fears in their heart. We can drive them out and give back what belongs to the Ummah. And we'd be removing a cancer in the world. But no...... We'd rather accept the money and the luxury...



They say this attack may stop the peace talks, but think about it, even if it didn't happen, there will still be no peace talks. They remain hypocrites and criminals. And even if there will be peace talks, what this really means to the terrorists is that no one attack them, but that its okay if they attack others.. Because even if they did attack others like they always do, they'll get away with it. So what is this peace talk to them? Nothing but to show the world 'oh we want peace' while behind they remain hypocrites.
