the words of this pious man don't surprise me,because I already do what Allah has commended to do,but I know somw women who are still delaying their duty because they don't feel ready or because it's too hot.I know that it's muslim's duty to obey to Allah's order...But I also understood that we should give the time to them to accept.when the law about the obligatoriety to wear the belt while driving,it passed much time before everybody respected it.As I can see, people olny obey to an order if they feel in danger, and in this case,if I don't wear the belt, the police can make me a fine.
About the hijab,I still studying a way to make as many women as possible to wear it,not because they aren't on the right way,but because they will feel free and protected.
In Italy, where I live at the moment,I see how many muslim women don't wear hijab and how they fear the sight of others if they cover themselves.some of them must integrate themselves with the rest of society and the weaker ones, just follow the course of the crowd.A woman said me in tears that I was right, but she doesn't feel comfortable because she suffers of low blood pressure...how many excuses they find!!!she is 32 years old while I'm 26 and wear hijab since I had 23.
May Allah help me to help

this is really the need of the hour!!!

i too hav heard so many lame excuses by women for not wearing hijab! but there was this one told by my dearest friend that shocked me! I politely explained to her why Allah swt has ordained Hijab on us & the reply i got was, "Wat u say is true but, nowadays, compared to women who dont hijab, men tend to observe & look more at women who are covered from head to toe, trying to examine what a beauty she might be, what is she hiding?..so they get more chased..so for present times hijab is not much needed..for its same if u wear hijab or not.."

Jazakallhu khair brother for sharing!!
Allah swt reward u in abundance & grant u Jannatul Firdous, Ameen ~
Allah swt guide the ummah to the true path Ameen

So true. A friend of mine [Muslim] told me that she doesn't wear hijab because only the "strict" Muslims wear it, and the moderate Muslims don't...
Lol, I don't know where she got that from. Probably because she just doesn't like the concept of hijab, calling it insecure, etc... Recently, I've been talking to her more about hijab, she's actually starting to question herself.
I hope Allah guides her and she makes a good decision. :)

Btw, Mashallah great lecture, I find it very useful. Thank you very much for sharing.

Salaamalaykum waa rahmatullahi,

Apart from the ilm(knowledge) that is shared in this nice television program. Look at the manner he is conveying the message. It is with love, compassion and kindness. MashaAllah.

It is very important for us to pay attention to this aspect of the dawah. That is to learn how to treat others with respect and honor while speaking to them about Islam, with a smile on our face and with kindness. Passing on knowledge itself is essential, however it should be done with care and compassion. We should be displaying the good manners that a muslim should posses. There is so much that the everyone (especially sisters in this case) can learn from this show and from the mannerism of our pious and learned.

MashaAllah sister. :)

May Allah put the barakah in your words and accept all your efforts. Ameen.

It is human nature, to avoid making changes in our lives (especially when someone else tells you to do something). Most of us have this inherent quality. Therefore, while doing dawah we should be patient with the person and not be judgmental. We should try to convey the message in the best manner and then pray to Allah azz zawajal to guide the person.

Take care.. Wasalaamalaykum waa rahmatullahi

that's awful,to know how many potential muslims there would be on the Earth, but how much they are involved in a society of hypocrisy.
my way of think is maybe rude towards the ones who say to me how I'm beauty with hujab, but they don't follow my example. But I also remember the wife of a friend of my husband:she didn't wear hijab,we made friendship, and some days after I saw her wearing hijab and she did it everyday.when she looked at me,she had another light in her eyes.

As I can see, some non-hijabed women tend to fear how others look at them, because they know they are coming from a muslim world but try ro imitate non muslims, and I can assure that maybe in my town I'm the only one italian muslim girl, and each time I match the sight to a stranger muslim woman who doesn't follw Allah's Order, she tries to look to another part.
Maybe muslim women don't know what they are losing with their behaviour, they think that there is only Dunya.I heard women saying me that They fear Allah as I do,but they don't wear hijab because it's their choice. Then, how can we choose something that has been decreed??there are some of them who are brought to obedience and do it,but some others who prefere to wait their time:but how can they know if their time is going to finish???a relative of my husband told me not to wear hijab because I'm young and pretty, and to do it when I'll get older...I answered her that I don't know if I'll get older and only a true muslim obey to Allah's will without posing any question to itself...
I supposed that if I was able to overpass to some struggles of my life, anybody else can do it,so why delaying what Allah has commended?
-When we see a person crossing the zebra-crosses,we must stop the car to let them go:it's the code of the road.
-And if we choose to become slaves of Allah,we must cover our beautiness:it's Allah's order.
there is an ocean of difference, but I don't know why people prefere the first choice:hijabi::wasalam:
