inshaAllah you're all in good health with blessings from Allah. in this month of ramadhan, alhamdulillah we are lucky enough to have food to eat, enough food for iftar and sahur. apart from that, many other blessings that we're blessed with. but our brothers and sisters in Iraq, Kashmir, Palestine, Pakistan, Afghanistan, Somalia, and many more, they're ramadhan may not go so smoothly, yet they have to remain strong and are struggling. everyday risks of bombs landing on their homes. everyday in darkness, not knowing who they might lose next. wondering why no one helps them, wondering why they're struggling alone. we are thankful to Allah we're not in a much more worse situation. and we are thankful for the mujahidin and the struggling and devotion they go through. imagine if they didnt care, Islam would be in a very bad situation, not many will acknowledge Islam, Muslim lands would have been concured, Muslims would have been killed. lets take this oppurtunity in this month to pray for them to succeed so our lands can be free, inshaAllah. lets pray for the Muslims, lets pray for our ummah to be stronger and united. surely Allah hears our prayers. lets pray we no longer live under occupation and struggles, lets pray for all those Muslims who are in pain, who have their ramadhan very difficult, who have life in darkness from the war. Ameen.

Soldiers killed in Kashmir attack

Opposition fighters have shot and killed at least two paramilitary soldiers in Indian-administered Kashmir.

Fighters fired and threw a hand grenade at government forces in crowded areas on Monday, injuring another 25 people, police said.

The two soldiers, from the Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF), were on patrol in the Lal Chowk area of the city of Srinagar when suspected rebels shot them.

"Suspected militants shot dead two of our soldiers from point-blank range in Lal Chowk area," Prabakar Triphati, a spokesperson for the CRPF in Srinagar, said.

Tripathi said the troops were taken to hospital but died from head injuries.

Grenade attack

A second attack on Monday wounded two paramilitary soldiers when a hand grenade was thrown at an outpost in the Batmaloo region of Srinagar.

"A grenade was lobbed on our bunker in which our two soldiers, two local policemen and eight civilians were injured," Triphati said.

That assault also wounded five civilians.

No one has claimed responsibility for either attack.

Unrest in the divided Kashmir region, of which both Pakistan and India claim total control, had dropped at the start of 2009 to its lowest level since a revolt against Indian rule broke out 20 years ago, police have claimed.

However, separatist activity has picked up in recent months. Security officials argue that Pakistani-based opposition groups have increased efforts for their fighters to gain entry to the region before winter snows block the Himalayan mountain passes.

More than 47,000 people have been killed in Kashmir since 1989, according to official tallies, although human rights groups have said that the actual figure for the dead and disappeared is about 70,000.

Deaths as earthquake hits Indonesia

At least 32 people have been killed and thousands made homeless after a major earthquake hit Indonesia's Java island.

People were crushed as buildings collapsed and rocks crashed down as the magnitude 7.0 quake struck less than 200km south of Jakarta, the Indonesian capital, on Wednesday.

Edi Sapuan, a farmer, said: "Many many villagers are injured, covered in blood.

"Houses are flattened to the ground ... only the wooden houses remain standing."

"It was very scary. The floor was swaying and I heard loud sounds from the upper floor like something was going to collapse," said one student after running out of the Grand Indonesia shopping centre in the heart of the city.

The quake was felt as far away as Surabaya, Indonesia's second-largest city, about 500km northeast of Tasikmalaya, and on the resort island of Bali, about 700 kilometres to the east.

Panic in Jakarta

Step Vaessen, Al Jazeera's correspondent in Jakarta, reported that at least 20 people were admitted to hospitals, some of them injured as people panicked as they ran from shopping centres or evacuated office towers.

Buildings swayed violently for at least a minute just after 3pm local time (08:00 GMT) and more injuries were expected as communication systems were restored.

There were reports that houses had collapsed in villages south of Bandung but there were no reports of any deaths, according to the Meteorology and Geophysics Agency technical chief Suharjono.

"There was a tsunami in the sea off Tasikmalaya but it was only 20cm high, it was insignificant," Suharjono added.

Indonesia's main power, oil, gas, steel and mining companies with operations in West and Central Java island closest to the quake's epicentre said they had not suffered any damage.

A 7.7-magnitude offshore quake triggered a tsunami off southern Java in 2006, killing 596 people and displacing some 74,000.

Another month of Ramadan has come, the month of our Lord’s Mercy, of hope, repentance and righteous deeds. And the best deed for the Umma today is fighting on the path of Allah.

There is no corner of the world today, where Muslim blood is not being spilled. The enemy is insidious, brutal and stubborn. Muslims are humiliated, the religion of Allah is thrown behind the backs, rulers and scholars are weak. Falsehood has seized power.

We testify, that truthful were the words of our Prophet Muhammad (s.a.s), who warned us, that a time will come, when enemies would attack Muslims, like a hungry bunch on a dish with food, calling each other as helpers. And the reason for Muslim weakness, despite their great numbers, will be love of this life, and dislike of death.

We also testify the truthfulness of the Messenger of Allah (s.a.s.), who gave a recipe for curing the illness of weakness and humiliation.

“If you indulge in iyna (form of trade), and follow the tails of cows, and became content with being farmers, and ignored Jihad, Allah will impose on you a humiliation that would not be taken away until you go back to your religion.”

The cure for the illness of weakness and humiliation of Islam is Jihad – the straightest path to returning to the religion of the Lord of the Worlds, removing tyranny and restoring justice.

We are sure, that all that happens occurs by the Will of Allah, according to His wisdom and predestination. Victory and defeat are only from Allah. While our obligation is to carry out orders and directions of Allah, relying only on Him and asking for help only from Him.

“Master of the Day of Judgment. You Alone we worship, and You Alone we ask for help”.

I congratulate Muslims with the coming of Ramadan, the month of Mercy and Help from Allah, and call to sword and battle, which is a healing for the hearts of believers.

Alone, in groups, jamaats, units and armies – don’t get tired and fight the enemies of the Lord of the Worlds, until the order of Allah comes!

It is very unfortunate what is happening with us throughout the world and it is us who are responsible for this.If the ummah was not divided then no one would have dared to even raise a finger against us.I pray to Allah to first give the Freedom to our Palestine brothers and sisters and give us back our Masjid Aqsa.They are in immediate need of Allahs mercy.

But all this is never possible through dialogue.Only an Islamic army under the guidance of a khalifah through an organised can liberate the muslims from kuffar.

JazakiAllahu khair sister for the wake-up call. Yes I do keep all my brothers and sisters in my Du'as. But we need to find ways to correct our Governments too. How?

Governments are formed by ordinary people. If people are not religious, the Government will not be religious. If people are westernised, the Government will be more westernised. So the power is in our hands. Lets correct ourselves first. Then let us target to find good Ameers for us. InshaAllah then everything will start to be correcting.

Sometimes we have the feeling that at first, we have to kill the people with power. If they are killed, the next one who is to be filled his position is also not good. So at first, we need to work our best to spread the true teachings of Islam among individuals, then it will move to families, then to cities, then to provinces, then to countries and finally to the whole globe inshaAllah.

Du'as, Sincerity of our hearts and an Organised Jihad (in all the means) is the key. We should back-fire the techniques the Kuffar used against us, in its beautiful manners and forms. They spread lies and untrue stories about Islam. So we should spread truth and true stories about Islam.

InshaAllah we will win if we keep ourselves on the true guidance of Islam.

May Allah (subuhaanahu wata'aala) accept our Du'as and give us effort to spread Laa Ilaaha Illallah. Ameen.
