Salaam brothers and sisters,
Allow me to introduce myself. My name is Sabina and I am a young Muslim film maker and am currently in the process of creating a documentary about Islam with a friend of mine. My aim is to diminish misconceptions about Islam and Muslims. Hopefully, I want to show this video in film festivals, schools, etc. I am however, having difficulty finding converts to speak about their story for my film and I just had the greatest idea, however, I would need some of your help. Would anyone with a story to share, both brothers and sisters, their story? Although I am in New York, I was thinking if a few people were willing to tape their story (by speaking to the camera) and then send it to me, I could put the segments together along with other segments I am filming and hopefully put together an informative, inspiring piece (inshallah).
