I am reviewing a lecture given about the Minor signs of the hour, I think mostly all have occurred. I found an interesting one that I have not heard discussed much. I will try to translate it but I am not good at doing so. This was of a narration of Ahmed:

آخر" – سيكون فى آخر أمتى رجالا يركبون عل سروج كأشباه الرحال ينزلون على أبواب المساجد نساؤهم كاسيات عاريات على رؤوسهم كأسنمة البخث العجاف العنوهن، فإنهن ملعونات لوكانت وراءكم أمة من الأمم لخدمن نساؤكم نساءهم "كما يخدمنكم نساء الأمم قبلكم

In the future there will be men of my Umma that will be sitting on a saddle like (referring to something similar to a saddle that they were accustomed to in travel) on a thing similar to a Camel. He PBUH also said the saddle will be wide and if he meant Camel he wouldn't of used tashabh and if he PBUH meant another animal than he would of said animal. in reference to this saddle like in another hadith he, PBUH said miathir meaning is a very wide seat.

The prophet PBUH had no words to describe the method of transportation so he used similarities that the people are accustomed to.

It is also mentioned in the Quran: surah 16 ayah 8

[yusufali] And (He has created) horses, mules, and donkeys, for you to ride and use for show; and He has created (other) things of which ye have no knowledge.

Allah swt, knows what man could not have known would happen.

Continuing hadeeth and "they park their vehicle on the sides of mosques or masajid . But their wives are not dressed; (They are dressed but their cloths are so tight that it reveals the shape of the body as if they are undressed) "

I did my best to try to translate but I find it difficult because there is more meaning that I don't have the abilities to mention.

SubhanAllah, there are many proofs in the Quran and Sunnah, that reflect the divine origin of them. I just found beyond comprehension that at a time where the closest thing to transportation was an animal/boat that there is description to transportation methods that we have today.

:jazaak:

may be there will be a more better translation from others. please forgive me if I have made a mistake. You know mistakes are only from me and not that of Allah swt and the rasool PBUH.

Pertaining to automobile, I heard from a brother that towards end of the world auto engines will not be functioning anymore and people will go back to horse for transportation and in wars etc..is that true? Apparently this is why The Prophet (saw) asked us to learn horse riding! InsyAllah, can someone help me pls.

Brother, I have never heard such a daleel. This may be problem since the prophet never mentions automobile. They didn't have a word for it at that time. This information if it is true; I would like the reference of the hadeeth for it. I can get information from my imam with respects to it's daleel.

Assalamualaiku Warahmatullahi Wabarakaatu,

I am not sure how accurate my source is but I have also heard that at the time when Isa Alayhi Salaam would have returned there will be no more automobiles and such technology. I would have initially thought the Y2K 'Bug' but that didn't crash everything :p

It would be appreciated if some of the more knowledgeable brothers and sisters can clarify this from the Quraan or Ahadeeth Insha Allah.

Jazaka Allah Khair in advance and May Allah Ta'ala reward you for your efforts :)

Wasalaam :)

Thank you brother. I didn't buy the story anyway but I was puzzled when he used the Hadith where The Prophet (saw) mentioned about horse riding...it make sense but you are right we need daleel. I'm sure some of our brothers and sisters are already doing some research. Thank you in advance brothers and sisters.
