assalamu alaikum..heres a poem i wrote about my mum...
My Mother
I am nothing without my Mother,
She is my strength,
My happiness,
My guide,
My best friend,
She is like no other.
She raised me to be who I am today,
Although I tripped up and cut myself so many times along the way,
She’s the one, who picked me up and helped me,
For her, I am thankful to Allah to this day.
I can’t bear to imagine life without my dear mum…
Without her my world would crumble and I’d be so, so glum.
My day would not pass without thinking about her priceless smile,
And all those evenings we would sit drinking tea,
And have a laugh for a little while.
Even thinking about it this very moment brings me to tears,
My world would be completely shattered,
Into something I wouldn’t be able to bear…
My world would turn inside out and upside down,
And I would be so down, that I would fall down, and break down.
You know she’s always the hero in my life, the one who saves me,
Without her I know for sure I’d go crazy.
Even after the endless hardship and suffering I put her through…
Loosing my cool, though actually I was the fool,
She’s the only one who pulls me through.
She’s never been hurtful or cruel,
I know deep down inside, whatever she says is always true.
I hope she forgives me for all the lame things I say, and all the wrong deeds I do.
I am grateful to Allah for all the knowledge she’s passed on to me,
Whenever I get the opportunity, I’d just ache tell her…
“Mother, I love you”...
I am in debt to Allah forever,
For blessing me with such a pious, beautiful Mother,
And all I pray for her is…
The Highest of Jannah...
