Does Being Just Mean Nice?

justice

a. fairness or reasonableness, especially in the way people are treated or decisions are made

b. the legal system, or the act of applying or upholding the law

Don't forget that often in the name of true justice, a party is best served by sending him to prison or the striking off of his head. This doesn't mean that he was treated unfairly or mean, but it was a just and reasonable fruit of what his deeds sowed.
