Obama: Jerusalem is Forever "Jewish"

This is to anyone who still things Obama will stop the hatred against Muslims in America when he becomes President.

Jerusalem must remain the undivided capital of Israel: Obama

US Democratic presumptive nominee Barack Obama said Wednesday that Jerusalem must remain the "undivided" capital of Israel in a speech to a powerful US-Israel lobby group here.
"Jerusalem will remain the capital of Israel and it must remain undivided," Obama told the vast annual policy conference of the American Israel Public Affairs Council (AIPAC).

Addressing the group in almost his first act since claiming the Democratic nomination late Tuesday, Obama said he was a "true friend" of Israel and that the US bond with the Jewish state was "unbreakable."

Obama drew a standing ovation as he arrived to address the mighty US-Israel lobby, and also addressed perceived suspicion of him in some sectors of the Jewish community.

"As president I will never compromise when it comes to Israel's security," Obama said in a cavernous Washington conference center, his image emblazoned across eight massive cinema-style screens.

Obama said in the strikingly pro-Israel speech that the US bond with the Jewish state was "unbreakable today, unbreakable tomorrow, unbreakable for ever," adding he was speaking from his heart as a "true friend" of Israel.

Republicans have hammered Obama over his offer to talk to leaders of US foe Iran, saying the strategy ignores repeated warnings by Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad to destroy Israel.

But he said it was time to abandon Middle East policies of President George W. Bush, which he said had made Israel less safe, and accused Republican presumptive nominee John McCain of wanting to prolong them.

"There are those who would continue and intensify this failed status quo, ignoring eight years of accumulated evidence that our foreign policy is dangerously flawed," Obama said.

Obama warned Islamist movement Hamas must renounce violence, pledged to stand up for Israel's right to defend itself at the United Nations and to provide the Jewish state the means to guarantee its security.

"We must isolate Hamas unless and until they renounce terrorism, recognize Israel's right to exist, and abide by past agreements. There is no room at the negotiating table for terrorist organizations."

He said he would push for an Israeli-Palestinian peace deal if elected president in November.

"Any agreement the Palestinian people must preserve Israel's identity as a Jewish state," Obama said.

Yes it is, and it's the "New and Current Affaires" section. I posted this because you'll be surprised how many muslims and arabs around the world are trying to make people vote for Obama as if he is going to solve the problems of Muslims and as if he is going to be Pro-Muslim or Pro-Islam.

This should also be a slap on the face of those muslims who are campaigning for Obama

Poll: Most Jewish voters want Obama to win

WASHINGTON - A new Gallup survey found that 61% of Jewish voters prefer Obama to McCain, who got 32% of the Jewish support.

That number is far greater than the rate found for the general population, who only preferred Obama to McCain 45-43, according to the poll. Obama also still trails Clinton in Jewish support, according to the survey, with Clinton winning against Obama in the Jewish community 50%-43%.

Though the results showed Obama is favored by the Jewish community, the Republican Jewish Coalition pounced on them to attack Obama.

"In 2004, John Kerry received 75% of the Jewish vote and George W. Bush received 25%. The recent polling numbers demonstrate Obama's weakness among Jewish voters. This data comes on the heels of the exit poll data from the Democratic primary in Pennsylvania. Hillary Clinton beat Obama among Jewish voters 62%-38%," said RJC Executive Director Matt Brooks.

But the Obama campaign dismissed his comments, with one adviser calling it, "a desperate attempt to squeeze one drop of lemonade out of a mountain of lemons."

Both candidates released statements honoring Israel's 60th birthday. While Clinton, down in delegates and running out of opportunities to pull off a come-from-behind victory, campaigned in upcoming primary states Thursday, Obama was expected to make remarks at the Israel's Washington embassy Independence Day celebration. US Vice President Dick Cheney was the scheduled keynote speaker.

Ahead of the embassy event, The Israel Project presented poll findings showing record support for Israel, with 71% of those surveyed saying America should support Israel in contrast to only 8% for Palestinians, with 14% saying they were uncertain. That's an overwhelming leap from 2002, when just 24% agreed with that sentiment. Though only 2% thought America should support the Palestinian side of the conflict, back then 68% of respondents said neither should be supported or that they didn't know which side to back.

Americans supporters of McCain back Israel in higher numbers than those supporting either of his two Democratic competitors, Obama and Clinton, whose supporters back Israel by similar amounts, according to the survey.

While 78% of McCain voters said they favored Israel as opposed to only 4% who chose the Palestinians, those who backed Obama for president favored Israel over the Palestinians 46%-14%. When matched up with Clinton, McCain voters backed Israel versus the Palestinians 77%-6%, while Clinton's voters broke down 48%-12%.

The numbers are reflective of the stronger support of Republicans generally for Israel found by the poll, which prominent pollsters Stanley Greenberg, a Democrat, and Neil Newhouse, a Republican, conducted of 800 voters in March on behalf of The Israel Project, a pro-Israel advocacy organization.

Greenberg attributed the greater amount of Republican support for Israel to the influence of the years of US President George W. Bush's strong backing of the Jewish state, the growing pool of religious conservatives who are increasingly attentive to Israel's centrality in their religion, and the sense of a shared security threat from Islamic terrorism.

The pollsters added that while support for Israel between adherents of the two parties had once been relatively even, it wasn't that Democratic numbers came down over the years but that Republican numbers have gone up.

The version of the poll that was released did not show the breakdown in intensity of support between respondents belonging to the two parties.

While Republicans and Democrats both overwhelmingly favored Israel's use of checkpoints (Republicans at 87% and Democrats at 72%), on the topic of Jerusalem, Republicans wanted the city to remain united by 72%-18%, while Democrats split 47%-30%.

A similarly sharp distinction arose concerning Israel's obligation to provide Gaza with humanitarian services despite the territory being controlled by an entity, Hamas, that wants to destroy Israel. Forty-eight percent of Democrats thought Israel was obliged to provide this assistance and 37% said it was not, almost the opposite of Republicans, of whom only 34% felt Israel was obliged to provide help and 58% felt it was not.

When it came to the candidates, McCain's supporters placed the issue of terrorism much higher on their list of priorities than Democratic voters did. Thirty-eight percent of his backers named it as one of the two top challenges America faces, while only 6% and 5% of Obama and Clinton supporters, respectively, did.

Salaam,

I don't support nor like either one, but I believer the lesser of the two evils (Obama vs. McCain) is Obama. It's funny how U.S. presidency is not about the U.S. but about Israel.

The U.S. can't save Muslims. The problems in the Muslim world is due to our own faults. Until we correct ourselves first then Allah will give us justice.

"Verily, Allah does not change the condition of a people until they change what is within themselves" (13:11)

I agree with you, we should always choose the lesser of the 2 evils(McCain and Obama) even though I don't know which is more evil or which is more good. Both Look the same to me. But regardless, we shouldn't be compaigning for them either like how many muslims are doing. they are even inviting the Obama representatives in the Masjid. to tell them to vote for him. we had one in this Hanafi Masjid which I go for Jumaah.

They even have websites now like muslimsforobama08 http://www.muslimsforobama08.com/ very disgusting. and also http://english.aljazeera.net/NR/exeres/B479BDBF-578E-439A-A9F0-1F2B1966A247.htm

so You can see what muslims have come to, that they think some guy is going to help solve their problems. this is how Bush got elected when so many muslims voted for him in 2000 and they taught he was a "friend" of Muslims. and you saw what you got. same thing will happen with Obama. When you rely on a Kaffir to help you, instead of Allah, then this is what happens.

Honestly, I'm so glad you put up this information. There are sooo many idiot muslims that think that Obama is the next best thing to the Messiah in this world. Many of them are maintaining that he will be a friend to muslims because he's had experience with muslims as per his background blah blah blah. And to tell you the truth, he had my vote as well.

Until he threatened to invade Pakistan without the permission of its government.

Then it was on.

Till this day I've only observed Pakistanis showing concern over that statement of his and I was very disappointed to see that many other Muslims didn't really care. They still wanted him as President. However, this article shows them that THEY will be at risk as well if they elect him as president because Israel affects ALL Muslims regardless of ethnicity.

Alot of Americans think that Obama is a threat to them because they believe him to be a "closet Muslim" but I personally believe him to be more of a danger to Muslims than anything. He knows that people are doubtful of his intentions and his identity and he will do ANYTHING (i.e. declare Jerusalem to be forever Israeli) in order to prove to these people that he is one of THEM. And that means throwing the Muslims to the wolves if he has to.

I don't know why muslims expect non muslims to be kind and gentle towards them. I hope Mccain wins so muslims can finally start realizing america is in no way a friend to them. And no one will illustrate that better than him.

everyone is so happy thinking that obama is gonna help muslims just because his grandma is a muslim. he is an enemy to islam just like those before him. it don't matter how sweet his words may sound- wake up people- there's no hope in a kuffar who is willing to demolish you for the sake of presidency, there is only hope in a true believer and in true mujahideens- especially those of palestine and somalia and iraq. and all the nations and lands of islam. salam.

Democracy is not for muslims

:salam2:

Democracy is not for muslims and will never be right for muslims. There is only one Law and that is Quraan. We must make Dua that Allah raises up the Khailfah to unite the Ummah and that all true believers are from the camp of Imaan. Obama can proclaim the that he supports Israel but in the end we muslims know their fate, for they can plan and plan but in the end Allah is the best of planners.

May Allah guide us all towards the Straight path Insha Allah!

they r all the same thats why they contest in the election knowing that this is a strong point that can lead them to b president ....if they were like ron paul than they wouldnt even get any media attention and would b treated like a normal person

our main duty?

The Fourth Topic
Again, there is an explanation of this in A Guide For Youth. One time, I was asked the following question by the brothers who assist me:

“For fifty days now -and now seven years have passed( This refers to 1946.) - you have asked nothing at all about this ghastly World War, which has plunged the whole world into chaos and is closely connected with the fate of the Islamic world, nor have you been curious about it. Whereas some religious and learned persons are leaving the congregation in the mosques and racing to listen to the radio. Is there some event more momentous than the war? Or is it harmful in some way to be preoccupied with it?”

I replied to them: Life’s capital is very little and the work to be done is much. There are spheres one within the other like concentric circles, from the sphere of man’s heart and stomach, and that of his home and body, and that of the quarter in which he lives and his town, and his country and land, and the globe and mankind, to the spheres of animate beings and the world. Each person may have duties in each of those spheres, but the most important and permanent of these are those in the smallest sphere. While his least important and temporary duties may be in the largest sphere. According to this analogy, the largest and smallest are in inverse proportion. But because of the attractiveness of the largest sphere, it causes the person to neglect his important, necessary duties in the small sphere, busying him with unnecessary, trivial, peripheral matters. It destroys the capital of his life for nothing. It kills his precious life on worthless things. Sometimes, the one following curiously the struggles of the war comes to earnestly support one side. He looks favourably on their tyranny, and becomes a partner in it.
The Answer to the first point: Yes, an event more momentous than this World War and a case more important than that of world supremacy has been opened over the heads of everyone and especially Muslims, so that if everyone had the wealth and power of the Germans and English and sense as well, they would unhesitatingly spend all of it to win that single case. The case is this: relying on the thousands of promises and pledges of the universe’s Owner, Who has disposal over it, hundredsthousands of the most eminent of mankind(prophets), and uncounted numbers of its stars(sahaabahs) and guides, have unanimously given news -and some of them have actually seen- that for everyone the case has opened by which they may either win, in return for belief, or lose, eternal properties as broad as the earth set with palaces and gardens. If they do not secure the document of belief, they will lose. And this age, many are losing the case because of the plague of materialism. One of the diviners of reality and investigators of truth observed in one place that out of forty people who died, only a few won; the others lost. Can anything take the place of that lost suit, even rule over the whole world?

Dear brother
From what it says in the news he is an apostate to Islam, his father was muslim but he belongs to church. Ma'thallah how can people go from light in to darkness? Besides, where will america put a muslim in office and no real muslim would go out and promote democracy. Human beings don't know what's good for one another only Allah knows!

Assalamu alaikoum,

From what I understand, it was Obama's father, who left Islam, and Obama, the presidential candidate was raised Christian by his mother from Kentucky. He was never a Muslim in the first place, despite having spent a number of years in his early youth in Indonesia. I enjoyed the wake-up call his pastor, Jeremiah Wright, was trying to give Americans about their foreign policy with Israel and treatment of blacks in the USA, but of course, Obama left his church because of that.... and something tells me he is NOT knocking on the door of the nearest masjid looking for inspiration but Allah knows best :)

Wassalam

You know what though at least we know where he stands on the issues, b/c that is what happened with Bush, all muslims voted for him and you know what he pulled one over on us. I would rather know what I'm getting, and you know what that shouldn't be the only issue that is your deciding factor...and unfortunately if your living in the states no matter what president is coming into power that is the stance they are going to have.

I think a great number of undecided voters will finally decide based on who each pick for their vice presidential running mates - McCain is so old (and with his history of cancer), his running mate has a pretty good chance of becoming president without being elected. Keep that in mind when you are voting (if you are Amiercan, of course).
