Thank you, BrotherZak, for posting the link. And thank you, libin, for embedding the video.
Alhamdu lil' llaah [All thanks are due to Allah], what a story!
I have some remarks:
1- I noticed that after his "ordination to the diaconate" [3:51-3:48] he went on to say to his former Catholic friend after he found out about his reversion to Islam, "A Muslim?! They're heathens! They don't believe in God! They don't believe in Christ!" [from 3:00 to 2:55]
I mentioned more than once in other threads on TurnToIslam that the Catholic Church has admitted in 1964 [Lumen Gentium], in 1965 [Nostra Aetate] and in 1992 [The Catechism of the Catholic Church] that Muslims do worship God Almighty and that Muslims do believe in Jesus Christ [peace be upon him] as a prophet.
To view what the Catholic Church's admissions, click on the following links:
I have met several Catholics [on the internet] who did not know about these admissions of the Catholic Church.
But, how is it that a man who received a seminary education and who was ordained to the diaconate [an intermediary step to being ordained a priest] still does not know about these admissions?
I think it shows that they don't teach everything at once to prospective priests.
2- May Allah reward the late Sheikh Ahmad Deedat for all his efforts in propagating Islam and forgive him his sins.
