ON a side note...I ahd to pause while watching this. I noticed that the sister is wearing a pink hijab. I asked about this a couple of weeks ago and received some uh...strong opinions on the matter. Good to see wearing a pink hijab is not going to cause the skky to fall on me. :lol:

just a reminder to myself and others, most of the ppl think , wearing hijab and praying is sufficient and u can have peace in ur heart, so ppl satisfy themselves with this , and u see outside girls doing things even non hijabis wouldn't do; i have to say, when i started wearing hijab, there are lots of things i started noticing, ppl didn't even know me before at uni, but now everybody looks at me, i can't walk as a normal anonymous student, even hijabi girls (who are few in my uni) come and ask me if i'm new, and u know it's like we form a gang of hijabis, i wear the hijab for myself only, but due to it, now i'm forced to have and stay with a certain type of girls, while before i used to stay alone, study and go back home, so now i have to stay with them, if one of them is talking to a boy or doing an unpolite thing , i would feel ashamed , i know women should wear hijab, but stop talking only about that, if it was a commendment wich came in the last surats of quran, means there are many surats to apply and understand before

i have to say, i'm very disappointed of myself, and of the general view hijabis give outside, because once we start wearing it we think we're perfect

to wearing pick colour hijab is better then not to wear hijab or?
in my school ther are a few girls who wear hijab but they look more modern or good looking with those kind of dress.
but its still better then not to wear hijab.

there is no one is perfect in this world and people shouldnt expect anything more from a girl who wear hijab, Allah s.w.t said in Quran,

Allah does not impose upon any soul a duty but to the extent of its ability; for it is (the benefit of) what it has earned and upon it (the evil of) what it has wrought

Its just people look up to them as model of good chracter, Actually I find it very brave when a sister wear hijab in a community which is full of ignorants, it shows she is trying to follow Allah's order, and can be a cause of guidance for other Muslims.

but Allah SWT also said in the Quran, that O Muhammad don't feel bad for the people who take religion as a fun , and make themsleves fun of their religion and think of it as a game

what u are saying is very illogical, u say that ok wearing hijab is a good thing and having a good character is another, and that's really sad, it's not ppl who expect something from us, but us who don't behave correctly and dishonour the hijab in itself, there is nothing brave in wearing hijab brother, and we should be carefull before calling others ignorant , and where is guidance when u wear something and do some other thing

what i'm just trying to say is that there IS NOTHING to be proud of wearing hijab, i don't like when other hijabis come to me and tell me u know we are proud muslims and free women , again hijab is for urself only, not to pass any message through a simple black /colored pice of clothes on ur head

it's like u make video and praise the advantage of wearing clothes, if u were clothes that's good for u otherwise it will only have bad consequences because in winter for instance u can catch cold etc....how will westerns stop making an issue of hijab if we ourselves first don't stop making it a whole useless issue for nothing but waste of time and energy

when I said brave I meant strength in Iman and what she is doing is for sake of Allah s.w.t not to get praised by other. If people look up to her as a model of good character then its a gift from Allah s.w.t
