Here is the latest project which GWB is planning. Bush wants to create a new "Africa Command" to put a stronger military presence in Africa.

He justified this idea as follows:

"Africa Command will enhance our efforts to bring peace and security to the people of Africa and promote our common goals of development, health, education, democracy and economic growth in Africa," he said in a statement."

So, is he saying he's going to bring peace and stability to Africa the same way he has brought peace and stability to Iraq?

I was born in africa and would love to go back one day Insha allah. this is bad news for most of us O Allah please keep that devil away from us and all of his wrongdoing. bush has never brought any peace to anybody sense he became president...

Bad news if the US is heading it. Although, there needs to be some kind of military presence in Darfur - preferably NOT American troops but rather a UN peace keeping force (it's as neutral as you can get, even though it's not really that neutral anymore). Bush can't even bring peace to his own country, let alone an entire continent which has problems rooted in things he couldn't even begin to understand.

African Command military movement has been former Defense Secretary Donald Rumsfeld project, which he had approved before stepping down as Bush’s Defense Secretary.
