A Spanish town council has voted to ban Muslim women's right of wearing the face-covering Islamic veil in public.
Spain, parts of which were ruled by Islamic Moors from the 8th to the 15th centuries, had around 1.4 million Muslims in 2009 -- about 3 percent of the population, according to the Islamic Commission of Spain.
In a recent controversy, a young woman changed schools after refusing to remove her Islamic headscarf when the institute where she was studying enforced its rule banning the wearing of headcoverings.

This now seems to be famous in all over the Europe to ban using islamic dresses. I wonder when they make law in somewhere where all women are forced to use only mini skirts in public places.
:angryblue:
In my country, Finland, some months ago one school made rule that muslim girls are not allowed to use even hijab at school. Later that school had to change this rule because some parents protested and proved it is against our constitutional law... even still it is.
