I was searching for stories / video clips of newly revert sisters & brothers & came across this site which for sure is :ma: I pray to Allah swt to help you ppl to make it an icon for new sisters & brothers. OK let me introduce myself. I am Ahmad, from Pakistan living & working in Dubai-UAE for the last 10-years almost now. Married Alhamdolillah & have 5 kids Masha-Allah. I used to be a usual born muslim who was living life & just living it for nothing. I was a film actor in Pakistan & used to so-called-enjoy life as it came to me. Then somehow I got a job offer from Dubai & I moved here. Living the same life in Dubai, one day a friend invited me to this Dars-e-Quran on VCD being arranged & I visited that place. It was at residence of a friend & when this man on the VCD-TV started the Dars-e-Quran it seemed that he is only talking to me & I am alone in that room, as he was explaining the exact way of life I was leading. Stunned & blank minded I came home (my family at that time was in Pakistan & I was living alone) I realized what has happened. I had a HUGE mirror on the side wall of my room & I kept looking at myself. Suddenly a sound I could hear coming from deep inside my heart asked me Who am I? & a reply came INSAAN & then the 2nd question Who is your creator? reply came RAHMAAN & 3rd question who am I following? reply came Shiataan..... Ohhh my Allah & I just couldnt stand on my feet. Allah swt gave me HIDAYAH (Guidance) And from that day onwards my vote is against shaitan & only requesting RAHMAAN for help and RAHMAAN is helping me Alhamdolillah always. I have become a Daa'ee now & Allah swt has opened my mind & heart and Alhamdolillah Alhamdolillah Alhamdolillah Allah swt gave me an opportunity to help one Christian Philipine brother to revert to Islam Alhamdolillah.
Just wanted to share it with you all and request you all to pray for me to be firm on my dawah & also pray for my wife to become a practising muslimah Inshallah. And also pray for me that Allah swt grants me another revert muslimah wife who can help me to grow stronger in Islam always and to have a next generation of true muslims for the Deen of Allah. Inshallah Ameen.
