As Salaamu Alaikum,
My name is khadar Aadan aw Mohamed. I just moved from the Netherlands to the United Kingdom. I am a student at the moment.
Just want to say i am new to this website, I am not new to Islam.
I was raised as a Muslim; I was reading and watching beautiful stories of the brothers and sisters who converted to Islam. And want to thank the brothers and sisters for sharing their stories with us. Its makes our deen stronger.
I would also like to say that Islam is not a state of being but it's a state of becoming, every day when you wake up and got to bed. Whether you’re raised as a Muslim or a convert. Because I don’t feel like the perfect Muslim, there are always things I can improve on. At night when we go to bed, we should ask our self “If I don’t wake up tomorrow, would I be proud of how I lived today”
I would also like to say that I am really happy that websites like this exist. And pray to Allah, that he rewards the person or people who made this website. Maybe it's something we have been missing, brothers and sisters sharing stories and knowledge with each other. Where I live we go to the masjid we pray together, and go home after that. Maybe we lost that sense of Muslim community. Because it's our duty to know how our brothers and sisters are, and whether we can help or assist them.
English is not my first language, so I would be surprised if any of you understood what I been writing. I would also like to say that you guys will get more questions than answers from me. As most you if not all, are more knowledgeable than me.
Please make dua for our brothers and sisters who are going thru difficult times, anywhere in this world.
Thanks for reading, :)
