You might wanna talk to some reverts and see what they learnt first and what steps they took their first day :)

If you need some physical help - you could pop down to your local mosque and get in touch with some of the sisters there I guess... and they can teach you stuff A-Z I'm sure they will be very enthusiastic :D

Asslamualikum wa rahmatullahi wa barakatuh (May Allah's peace and blessings be upon you).

May Allah (SWT) give His favor upon you on the day of Judgement. May Allah (SWT) give you success and happiness in this life and hereafter. May Allah (SWT) removes all you difficulties if there are any in your future life.

The most wise way is to start slowly and steadily. Do not rush....

Daily five prayers is good enough for the beginner. If you make delay in one prayer dont be upset. If you seem to busy then Join Duhar and Asr prayers together and Magrib and Esa prayers together. If you cannot take ablution with water use Mud.

In Islam there is no hardship. If you miss one prayer don't be upset just make sure to make it up.

Is That True???!!!! Subuhaanallah what a great news you have given me dear sister in Islam.

Mabroooooook!!!!! (Congratulations) for the most important and difficult decision a person can make in this world. Most of the great companions of Prophet Muhammad (may peace be upon him) were reverts like you my dear sister.

MashaAllah I just do not know how to express my feelings to see lots and lots of brothers and sisters are converting to the Truth from falsehood. Alhamdhulillah (Thank is to Allah).

Sister my advice is to move forward step-by-step. InshaAllah (with the will of Allah) you will learn things by time. Try to learn how to pray according to the way Prophet (may peace be upon him) prayed. Read books about the basics of Islam.

One other thing. If you have any question(s) to ask, please do not hesitate to ask here. Your brothers and sisters are just in a click distance. :)

Also try to be with good Muslim sister(s). That will help a lot in this stage.

we can hear more if all of us are together and help everyone as much as possible.

ask ourselves,how many of us really into dawah?how many of us really follow what is written in Al-Ikhlas?

there is no any rules that you must convert in the mosque

during our Prophet's (pbuh) time,people came to him and took the syahadah.

i myself converted through skype through another revert

being a muslim is about declaring that ur the servant of Allah and u obey Him.

u can take ur syahadah anywhere any time.Coz Allah sees u and Hears u.but we muslim should guide them in saying the syahadah correctly.

plz sisters and brothers in this forum.if there is any sisters or brothers say want to convert,stop saying that "you must go to a nearby mosque to convert".
what if he/she die before she could find the mosque?who is responsibble to take the blame?
there was one sister on tti,she waited almost 1 week to go to a mosque to take syhadah.but Alhamdulilah she manage to convert.but we as human dont know anything and can't predict anything.

Thats not about posting prayers over here or somewhere else my dear sister in Humanity. It is about delaying prayers from its time.

All the five prayers in a day is to be done within a more than enough time period. Allah (subuhaanahu wata'aala) says in Surah An-Nisa (The Women), Verse Number 103, ".........set up Regular Prayers: For such prayers are enjoined on believers at stated times".

If a person delay the prayer from its time, it is a VERY Huge sin he is doing. Because Prayer is the most special infront f Allah (subuhaanahu wata'aala). It is the major difference between Muslims and Kuffar. Prophet Muhammad (sallallahu 'alaihi wasallam) said, "The pact between us and them is prayer. Whoever abandons it is a disbeliever. (Related by Ahmad, Abu Dawud, at-Tirmizhi, anNasa'i and Ibn Majah.)

Welcome sister, I converted myself about 2 months ago. My advice, take it slow. It can be so overwhelming with all the information out there and knowing what is good info and what is not. Find yourself a good muslim nearby if possible to help you. Dont try to do it all overnight.

I see you are from Tennessee, we are neighbors, lol. I am from Alabama. Good to see another sister in the south. :hearts:
