I would like to know what is the difference between Islamic Discussion section and Islamic articles and important information section.

I am confused as to in which among the two should I post Islamic articles/info/questions/etc.

Islamic Discussions is where you want to interact with other Muslim brothers and sisters, maybe you want to share some information with them and see their feedback etc or get help .Its for discussions

Islamic articles and important information This is for storing Islamic Articles, not all articles are accepted here, just those that are preferably by Scholars and which conform to Quran and Sunnah. Its just a library database of all useful Articles. It is not meant to be an area for discussion

I understand there is this ambiguity, but, there is not much i can do about redesigning things at the moment.
