BEST FRIENDS

I read this poem in my annual magazine and thought I should share it. Although it is not an Islamic poem, it is very beautiful:ma:

When Best friends find themselves apart
They are still close atleast at heart.
Because their friendship means so much
They always need to stay in touch.
For truest friends can understand
That friendship never can be planned.
It simply happens when two people give
A gift to cherish everyday you live.
It is built on sharing, love and smiles
It crosses time and even miles
The world is always changing; it never stays the same
But love stands the test of time
To remove all the previous pain.
Bless this heart, O Lord I pray!
May it be safer by night and day.
Bless this soul shining bright
I want you to promise me you will be strong
And let nothing darken your spirits or song.
Promise me that you will believe that love never dies
That you will follow your heart that never lies.
That way I can be sure that even if we part
We will be close at least at heart!
