Assalam aliekum
Can anyone share any Arabic recipes that DON'T have rice in them? While I don't mind rice, it seems like dang near every Arabic dish I have ever eaten is a huge pile of some sort of seasoned/spiced rice plus a little bit of something else. My American friends and I laugh that rice and chicken is rice and chicken, even if the spices are different - even though our Arab/Kuwaiti friends try to argue that they are completely different meals!
