Salam Alakum brothers and sisters in islam.
I've joined this thread for two primary reasons. One was to increase my knowledge islam while making some new friends around the world, and the other is to kill time while i work.
I hope i make some new friends who fear allah and grateful for his innumerable bounties he showers us on, inshallah.....salams.
"that Allah has divided His mercy (the object of His Mercy) from His creation, into 100 parts. A part of this mercy has been bestowed upon this world, and the rest of the 99 parts have been reserved for the Day of Judgement."

IN THE NAME OF ALLAH
Assalamalaykum brother, it is very happy to see you here, inshaAllah together we share and learn the Deen well.
Here, I would like to ask you something regarding the words you have mentioned in your post that:
"that Allah has divided His mercy (the object of His Mercy) from His creation, into 100 parts. A part of this mercy has been bestowed upon this world, and the rest of the 99 parts have been reserved for the Day of Judgement." could you tell me if it is one of hadith, what is its source? jazakanlahukhair.
wassalamalaykum

Inshallah we shall learn together.
The source of the hadith is Bukhari, here is the full context "God has divided mercy into 100 parts and He kept 99 parts with Him and sent down one part of these on the earth, and because of that (one single part), His creatures are merciful to each other, so that even the mare lifts up its hoof away from its baby animal, lest it should trample on it" (Al-Bukhari 8:29"
Anything i say in error is from me and only me, anything i say which is correct is from Allah(saw)...
How is this message board? Is their people all across the world? I live in ottawa canada so i'm just wondering... salam

Wow salam, I never imagined in my wildest dreams i'd be speaking to a muslim from china. Its hard to imagine that considering that residing in the other side of the world.
Inshallah i will try to the best of my abilities to help you answer some of your questions. And i hope in return, i learn many new things and increase my knowledge from you: "Prophet said: "Seek knowledge, even if it be in China" I thought this would be the perfect occasion to use that hadeeth. :)

I recently installed hadith(Shahai Bukhari) software from Islama software solutions. This software has 93 chapters and each chapter has multiple narrations with continuous numbers. For example first chapter(Revelation) has 6 narrations and second chapter starts with number 7..And totally there are 651 narrations.
I was referring to the number which, brother Zakaria mentioned. ie. Al-Bukhari 8:29.. If I had interpreted it correctly i would have found that hadith in 8th chapter 29 th narration. But I have different narration there..
So, my question is what is the original hadith structure of Al-Bukhari in arabic version looks like? And whether all transalations in different languages should have same structure, number of narrations, order of narrations?
If not, can some one suggest me good software or book of al-Bukhari hadith in english translation that has similar to the original version?
Jazak Allah Khairan for your help.

I'm not too certain whether i can locate a program which has a standerized format that is consistent with the book form of Bukhari.
However The Translation of the Meanings of Summarized Sahih Al-Bukhari: Arabic-English (Hardcover) can be purchased here from "http://www.amazon.com/Translation-Meanings-Summarized-Sahih-Al-Bukhari/dp/1567445195/sr=8-4/qid=1165469381/ref=pd_bbs_sr_4/104-2734069-8843116?ie=UTF8&s=books'
So far its 5 stars. Customer comment: "This is a summarized version of the MOST WELL KNOWN AND ACCEPTED BOOK of Hadiths (quotes of the prophet Muhammad) and Sunnah (practices of the prophet Muhammad) EVER WRITTEN. It is categorized by topic, and is therefore easy to search through when you want to look something up. It has the original arabic and translated english side-by-side"
Only 27 bucks, which is really cheap compared to the regular prices which can fluctuate all the way up to 100 bucks.
I hope that helped,salam :)
