i use wikipdia 4 my hwk :lol::D (not any more, i guess!!)
Anyone can write anythin, and we have to be aware of it.
especially, some people research Islam there, JUST DONT RISK IT ;)

well just like on any bit of information, i use wikipedia as a guide only...I learnt at a young age to question everything :).....You have to check out EVERYTHING for yourself.....

No one should use WIkipedia (or any other wiki) for actual research. Many schools do not allow it as a resource for information (including most colleges and universities in the US).

It is because it is editable by users - that is what a wiki is. This has been known since it started, and it hasn't been considered a credible source since it started (as in, if you get all your information from wikipedia, you risk having mis-information that someone else posted).

Wikipedia should not be a credible source to rely on. I could change any article there by clicking on "edit" then "save" , I recently found a bad article about my city, I have deleted the whole of it and put a new one.
