A newbie To this website....

..Actually I am a born muslim.....with all the imperfections a born muslim is supposed to have having been raised up in some city-ish kinda environment.....sorry bowt dat...:)...but I have seen some videos about reverts...and mashallah that has inspired me a lot.....its soooo motivational.........thats just superb......!!

God bless them and may God guide me too to practice it to the fullest...!!!

....its sometimes very strange feeling to see....someone from very different background .....not only talk abt islam but also preaching it......and many of the reverts i have seen.....impressed me......:(....im not sad cause they....reverted to islam...but i am sad cause....i feel a bit gone far...from what i used to be....i got too much involved with ...'corporate culture'....

that made me a lil bit selfish....so thats the reason....i try to compensate it...by visiting islamic websites...thats all..............!!!!!

........it must be very difficult at first to adjust with the islamic way of life....?

i mean....did u feel like losing something or......not losing something....?

and why....islam?

I mean....no matter how far i am from practicing islam but........ahem...the ideology is deeeeeeeeeeep rooted in me..........but thats cause i am a born muslim.........i guess.....but when i see a revert muslim......reacting in the same way as i do......

(on islamphobia in north america or more precisely in Europe cause its much higher in level over there than over here.....i have lived in scandinavia ,UK , france , southern europe (italy,spain)....before i came here as a techno-immigrant cause i am almost loaded with degrees they told me they needed me.....hehe....but i might want to get into a university again... hehe.....)


.......then...i feel a lil bit jealous ....hehe.......and......i get amazed...too......


anyway.....share ur experiences......i am watching videos of revert muslims.....i liked specially the video of reverts in texas.....a strong hold of so called 'crusaders'.....lmao......man that was so fun watching it.......

If you feel your iman could be stronger then welcome to our world! Everyone could improve themselves in some way to become a better Muslim. You're right though - reverts are quite often more religious than people who were brought up as Muslims.

But, the simple fact that you're on this website demonstrates your desire to strengthen your iman. It shows you are concerned about your iman and have the intention of strengthening it. Indeed, Allah tells us to seek knowledge:

Say [unto them, O Muhammad]: Are those who know equal to those who know not? But only men of understanding will pay heed (Qur'an, 39:9)

And prophet Muhammad :saw: said:

Seek knowledge from the cradle to the grave.

So spend your free time on websites like this and you will find your iman will strengthen the more you learn :)
