The Forum Time

Current forum time: 7:26pm
My PC time: 7:38pm

I've noticed the forum sometimes likes to change the time (forwards and backwards) which lead to funny ordering of posts. See my post here:

It seems when AishaR posted, the time was 7:27pm. My post was a response to her post but was placed before hers in the thread, and I can only put this down to the forum changing its time. Strange!

OK now the forum time is 7:42pm and my PC time is 7:42pm also. I was right, I'm not going crazy afterall :biggrin:

Interesting that your time is also exactly 12 minutes forward compared to the forum time, as was the case with me earlier. Now we just need to figure out what significance the 12 minutes has to anything :biggrin:

Issue is my server, its part of a load balanced network. i.e. it is spread over many servers. the site is on a modified vb now.

This is old, but forum times are still not fixed... not a big deal, but just wanted to point it out... it switches now and then and right now, i'm like 3/4 min. ahead of the forum time...

EDIT: And then it decides to jump back up those 4 min. and catch up, same time now
