Hi, I'm Sophie, 29....Irish and a cradle Catholic....don't currently subscribe to any particular religous faith. I am interested in learning about Islam....not necesarily in reverting....but learning about....and seeing how I feel....in an Islamic environment...even if only a virtual one. I hope I can develope here.

Welcome Sophie. Islam is a beautiful religion. It is best to learn about it from the source. I would suggest you find a copy of the Quran, a biography of the prophet Muhammad, and a book which references his Sunnah (or hadith). It also helps to be in the company of a practicing Muslim. However, this is not always possible, and I believe this website can be a good substitute! You should be able to find a lot of helpful information here for your search. As everyone has already stated, if you have any specific questions by all means ask! May God bless you and guide you to the straight path. Best wishes to you.
