Hello there...now lets see what I can say about myself...I am the father of 6 kids, 4 girls and 2 boys and grandfather to two boys. My wife and I live in beautiful BC Canada in a small town in the mountains.
I am a new revert to Islam, having said Shahadah back in Jan of this year(great way to start a new year huh?) So far I am the only muslim in the family but insha'allah that will change and as far as I know the only muslim in the area. My only contact with my brothers and sisters in Islam is through the web but I am planning on traveling to England next year to meet some of the people that I have met online and helped guide me to Allah.
I discovered this site through the videos on youtube and hopefully it will get a lot busier. I usually hang my cyberhat at ummah.com
I love to discuss politics and current events and always enjoy a good debate.
Well that's all for now. If anyone wants to know anything about me feel free to ask

What an amazing story. It shows us that whoesoever Allah's wishes to guide tehy shall lead to the Straight path, Bizn Allah (withe the Will of Allah)....as you did.

Masha Allah!. One advice only at this point. Do NOT accept anything in Islam without hard EVIDENCE (daleel) from the Quran and sunnah. Many many well-intentioned muslims are passing on half-baked information about how to practice this religion. Unfortunately many new muslims are victims of this information.

Ever plan on coming to Arizona..please do let us know. Most of all I pray taht All guide ALL of your family to Islam. It is certainly happening more and more often taht whole families are entering Islam. Yusuf Estes (an American Muslim scholar) is an example. You can tell hsi story to your wife and family. May Allah open theri hearts to the truth. Ameen.

Lastly, it is very important to stay in touch with local muslim community. You can find Islamic centers closest to you by going to this link... simply go to Canadian link.
