:salam2: i wanted to know, when women are reading salah, is it necessary that she be covered completly? I mean arms be covered up to wrists, legs be covered up to ankles, and hair should obviously be totally covered---is taht all correct? In other words, does she need to be in complete hijab? And does all this apply at the time she is reading the quran as well? I read somewhere, that if while in salah, part of the arm or part of the leg becomes exposed, even for a few seconds, the salah will be invalid, and will have to be repeated, is this true?

As far as I know from what I have read and I will try and post you the fatwaa inshaa Allaah. The woman does have to cover completley in the salaah including her feet. Only her face and hands are allowed to be uncovered. If something of her becomes uncovered without her knowledge then nothing is wrong and her prayer is correct. Iam not giving a fatwa but just relaying what I have read/heard from the scholars.
You can take a look here inshaa Allaah
