Adding Videos To A Thread

you may add videos to threads. I have made it very easy for you:

Number ZERO - 0 ... Read the Instructions Carefully!!! and do Exactly as instructed.

1. Start a thread, give a good title

2. Give a good description. This helps those clicking the topic and also it is useful for when a topic of interest is placed on the frontpage. Please make the description Minimum of two to three sentences. Around 20 words -- Maximum of 80 (Before the Vido, you may add as much information AFTER the video as required).

3. Add video inbetween special code.

for Video Google:

Copy the Video Code from the top of the Window in the Address bar:

http://www.turntoislam.com/images/tti/tutorial/tutorial_vg.jpg

Make sure to copy the number directly after the " = " sign, including any "-" minus sign, as can be seen in the example above.

Stop at the last Number...... Do not copy anything after the number, such as &=islam.. or anything else that is not part of the number...

Add the video, use the code [vg] for google video. end with [/vg!] but without the "!" in the last bracket . This automatically puts the video into the post.


For Youtube Videos, it is same, except you just copy the Youtube code!:

Look at the address bar of your internet explorer.

http://www.turntoislam.com/images/tti/Tutorial_youtube.jpg

Make sure to copy the ID code directly after the " = " sign, as can be seen in the example above.

Stop at the last ID Code.... Do not copy anything after the ID Code, such as &=islam.. or anything else that is not part of the code...

Depends where the video is located. .is it on a website?

Yes brother, it was put up ok, only you had a space in the last bracket that was the reason for not working. [/yt ] it should have been [/yt] leaves no spaces within the brackets.;)

Yes it's possible to add videos from Dailymotion, in order to do that you alter the method of getting the code and place it in [dg] or [dm] codes.

By using dm

[ dm ] the number here [ /dm ] ( of course without the space)

But its not as the number or code in youtube or google video for daily motion you have to copy out the embed code it gives you. and find the number in that embed code

Like for this Embeddable code it will be the number in red:

Sorry, at this point TTI does not support Facebook Video embedding. You would either have to upload them on Google / Youtube in order to be able to embed them. Otherwise you'd only be able to give a link.

If it is a good video why not break it into smaller parts then upload?
