I was finally able to view this documentary, and found the respect and understanding that Ashley's Mother had towards her religious beliefs very touching indeed. She could have simply refused to allow her daughter to attend the masjid, and that would have been the end of it. She obviously loves her daughter a great deal, and cares about her happiness. Amazing at such a young age, not only do these sisters (both in Islam and of each other) know about the true faith but even at least one (possibly both) goes so far as to wear Niqaab! It's amazing that we are living in a time where we have the perfect religion and know it is the truth and we now have the means to tell everyone about Islaam. From what I have seen on this video, they already understand what they have learned if they will accept (if they haven't already) Islam. I think they will do wonderfully in the faith, Alhamdulillah!

I think that the black haired girl shows a true interest in Islam, you can tell by how introspecitive she's being that she really is thinking about it, not just simply doing it because its what the nighbor hood kids are doing. The other kids I'm not so sure about. But there's something about this girl that makes her seem very intriguing, she thinks about things that most adults haven't even given the time of day for. It's stories like these that touch me the most, someone who has an amazing character yet came from a very difficult background. I can tell she's going to end up somewhere amazing. :blackhijab:

Yes, it'll be interesting to see what develops 10 years from now when they become adults. Whatever, it's good to see an English community expanding into a multi-racial society. Racial understanding and intergration augurs well for the future of Britain, I believe. Masha Allah the world is changing, it is cute to see the young ones being interested in Islam a religion which their parents have a bad thought about. New generation of children will turn Britain to a muslim state which hopefully will give the palestinians their land back.

Its a really cool video, Allah Always keep the children happy, and grant them the highest levels in paradise. I hope there interest and thirst for learning ISLAM last for ever and ever!! Allah grant them deep wisdom and knowledge of the Quran, the words of God. Myself being born a muslim, was really amazed by the interests shown by new muslim and their thirst and eagerness to learn, so i thought to myself i should also be as eager to learn my religion! So i went and completed a 6 year course learning arabic, islamic law, studied the words of God (quran) and the words of the messenger of God Muhammad SAW. I pray to Allah that he always keeps us on the straight path, offer our 5 times prayer and become true muslims. All praise to Allah we born as muslims, we need to strengthen our Belief/Imaan and try to make our Paradise.

I am very happy to see these girls so attracted to Mosque but I hope that Allah gives them enough chances to stay Muslim. I also feel bad at the end that she had to wait for a month before they find a female muslim teacher. Our Muslim communities have a great shortage of well qualified teachers. My kids felt sad for these kids and were asking me for a way to contact them to help them in any way possible. If anyone know please let me know Inshallah.

The part about this video that caught my heart, was when the girls mother told her that she could not go to the mosque anymore and how bad that hurt her heart. She understands Islam because she knows that it is the peace and love of Allah and she wanted so much to be in the mosque and learn about the way of Allah. Joy was brought to my heart when i seen her overjoyed to be allowed to go to the mosque again. She may not understand all about Islam but Allah has started the process and Inshallah he will bless these children and show them the path of Allah. Praise Allah for this site.

I have now seen the video and read through the thread and it seems like the video is a few years old. It would be interesting to get an update to what happened next if that is possible. From what I understood they never reverted officially although the both girls seem very honest in their interest in persuing a muslim life. I was amazed to see how even the youngest of them had the courage to wear niqab at such a young age! An amazing film indeed. If the girls really has reverted since then, I think their mom will eventually follow as she at least was open minded enough to let her daughters go to the mosque, learn about islam and even dress themselves in hijab! My only concern is about their brother who seemed very immature to say at least. More interested in The Simpsons than learning about the true path. We can all hope he has matured some since then, since the video is few years old and he too will eventually come to faith. They say girls mature earlier than boys and in this case it obviously seems to be true. I won't say he was stupid, just a bit immature but then I don't know how old he really was.

i registered 3 yrs & 5 months ago & this is my 1st post since then.
i am curious about the children in the video- many of you seem to be from England- anyone from Bradford area?
- im sure you would be able to recognise the musjid/madrassah in the video- maybe you could make some enquiries there?
im also quite curious as to what has happened with these children- is the girl still a muslim?
and, some people here dont understand that nobody wants to see them leave islam- its just that children are very influenced by their friends/environment.
adults are also influenced but its more evident in children
thats why some are saying they would like to see them in 10 yrs- whether they are still muslims.
nobody is denying that Allah ta'ala grants hidaayah but please understand that the environment around these children is against islam-
lets be honest- even their own mum is not too happy that her daughter is wearing hijab and calling herself Aiesha. so it would be quite difficult for this girl to remain steadfast.
look around, even born muslims are far from steadfast- what makes you lot think a child can withstand pressure from all sides to leave islam?

Okay. What appears to have happened is this: The girl near the end of the documentary goes to the masjid but the Imam tells her that an extension is being built where all the girls will be taught. Once that is completed she should come back. The reason why the Imam decided to stop was because she was growing up.

The extension was built and girls are now taught at the masjid. However the girls in the documentary never came back. Allah knows best why. I watched the documentary again and I think the girl after waiting until September and then being told to come back when the extension is complete so she can learn with other girls hurt her (she looks like she was about to cry).

I could speculate but there is no point as only Allah knows.

Therefore, the extension was built for females but these girls never came back for whatever reason.

(If I find out anything more I will post but I suspect what I might find out will just be speculation and I might refrain from doing so).
