Aslamulakum i have just converted to islam and i am now learning the basics i have learned the namas from a book i bought but i dont understand about the 5 differant prayers and how they are all differant and what is the differance between them please could you tell me how they are all differant and what i .
should say before i begin prayer

As for name of the prayer

Fajir = The Dawn Prayer Before sunrise. and its 2 Rakah ( 2 Units)
Zhur = The Noon Prayer When the sun declines. and its 4 Rakah ( 4 Units)
Aser = The Afternoon Prayer between noon & sunset. and its 4 Rakah ( 4 Units)
Maghrib= The Sunset Prayer Immediately after sunset. and its 3 Rakah (3units
Isha = The Night Prayer and its 4 Rakah ( 4 units)
