Awakening with a shock , I sat up in my bed
As the anxiety began to knock, I felt a tension in my head
With each beat of my heart, my chest ached with pain
As it went faster and faster, I knew it was time again
My mind raced with terrible thoughts, gripping my body with fear
As I told myself to remain calm, for Allah is always near
For He will never burden his servant, with a problem too big
After every difficulty there’s ease, even as small as a fig
I began to chant the name “ALLAH” over and over, As I felt peace and calm emerge
It’s the only cure that I did discover, and that was to fight these feelings with a WORD
