Inserting/editing quotes

I need help here. I wish to respond to a part or parts of a lengthy post.How do I extract a part/parts of those portions and transfer them to the body of my post or response.

You copy the part of the post you wish to quote, and then within your reply you paste that (keeping it highlighted) and then press the little yellow speech bubble found at the top of the post toolbar.

This will wrap [QUOTE] *your quote [ / QUOTE] tags around whatever you want and let you quote it.

You can also do it manually by typing in the tags around the text.

I hope... though, doubt this makes sense
