Hello for everyone.im 26 years old & i live in russia .The first what i want to
say, i m very glad to join to this websate .
I used to live in uk & i met with people they were muslims .
i spent a lot of time with them , i understood that Islam is not what i think before.They changed something inside of me . im not muslim , im criastian
but im very interested in Islam.and i want to add ,wnen i came to england
i was alone i met this people they were very polite &and they helped me.
in my english school i have a teacher she wore hijaab and i was proud about muslim weman ,now im stadying islam .

Welcome and don't feel alone because I just joined a few days ago and I'm not a muslim either yet although I think I'll be one soon. It is true that islam is not like the stereotype in media if you study it for yourself and want to make up your own mind about it.

ahlun wa sahlun, welcome to the boards. It is true Renee that Islam is not what you see on the television, read in the newspapers or hear in the radio. I'm not one for being apologetic but i pray for ppl to understand and barrage their misconceptions of Islam by having an open mind inshallah (God willing) then learning more about the 'way of life' given to us by Sayed ul Anbiya (Leader of the Prophets) Muhammad (peace be upon him).
