Asalaamu Alaykum


There's something in a simple hug that always warms the heart,
It welcomes us back home and makes it easier to part.

A hug's a way to share the joy and sad times we go through,
Or just a way for friends to say they like you 'cause you're you.

Hugs are meant for anyone for whom we really care,
From your grandma to your neighbor,
Or a cuddly teddy bear.

A hug is an amazing thing, it's just the perfect way,
To show the love we're feeling but can't find the words to say.
It's funny how a little hug makes everyone feel good,
In every place and language, It's always understood.

And hugs don't need new equipment,
Special batteries or parts
Just open up your arms
And open up your hearts.

assalamu why don`t you try with a teddy bear or something go around with it and everytime somebody wants to hug you give them the teddy bear....lol
i used to do this when i was little and knew my aunts or their girl friends were coming home because they would hug me play with my cheeks and make me full of saliva all day long i hated it! so i had the teddy bear alternative i would just give them the teddy bear haha :SMILY303:

We had a Sheikh in our local mosque when i was a kid, around 6-7 years old. Everytime I saw him, I used to run away coz at first he would pull my cheek so badly, and then give me such a huge hug, I would faint at times.
Its been a long time since i met him last.
Good to have such sweet memories.
Anyways I did not like him at all that time..lol

When I was a kid, I used to avoid 2 of my good Muslim uncles. They would give such a huge tight hug when they met me that my ribs made noise.

I'm sorry for that. Actually the only one I hug is my little nephew:) . He is only 1 year old. It's really great to hug him. He seems to like our hugs, but I think that after three or four years,he may change his mind
